UAL is proud to set the standard for sustainability on campus, with pioneering initiatives at  UAL’s London College of Fashion (LCF) winning two awards and one ‘highly commended’ accolade at the 2018 Green Gown Awards UK & Ireland; in a year which saw a total of five nominations across the university.

The prestigious Green Gowns combine 87 finalist institutions in 12 different categories, representing over 1 million students and 172,000 staff. They celebrate remarkable sustainable initiatives in universities and colleges in the UK and Ireland that are leading the way in creating a better future for us all.

Our Sustainability Manifesto guides our focus through a holistic set of themes, increasing engagement with sustainability and catalysing progress within and beyond our institution.”
